As a child, Dr. Matthew Herba suffered needlessly with migraine headaches. His personal mission is to educate every parent, grandparent and child that many times this can be resolved by safe, natural chiropractic care. While Dr. Herba was completing his Molecular and Microbiology training at UCF, he was part of a nutritional research team in the Central Florida area. In working with AIDS and cancer Patients, he saw amazing results with natural, non drug solutions. After the experiences as a child with chiropractic, and the results he saw with those patients, the decision to become a chiropractor was the logical choice.
Dr. Herba?s training in the health field started at the University of Central Florida. In 1999 he earned a bachelors from their prestigious Micro and Molecular Biology department. The turning point in his education was taking a class in Neuro-anatomy. After learning that chiropractors are nerve system specialists, Dr. Herba immediately decided to attend chiropractic college. He attended Parker College of Chiropractic, earning a Doctor of Chiropractic in 2003. Upon graduation he worked in St Cloud under the tutelage of Dr. Tony Nalda, in one of the worlds largest practices.
Dr. Herba looks at the cause of his patients' symptoms, and treats the whole person. This approach allows him to not only offer the latest and most up to date, gentle chiropractic care, but allows him to address other challenges patients may have. The practice has monthly workshops that allow each person to address other health facets in their lives, such as nutrition, time management, peace management and exercise.
During his spare time Dr. Herba enjoys reading leadership and motivational books. One of his most favorite places to be is in the gym, working out. With knowledge comes great responsibility, so he rarely miss my adjustments or working out. He has found this not only makes him feel great, it also allows him to function maximally to serve others.
